Q: a few years back when i lived with my mum she had me apply for youth allowance ..its a long story but basically i'm stuck with a $3000 debt. I'm not on centrelink anymore, i haven't been since the debt happened and i've been working for the past 8 months

A: Government debts usually do not report on your credit file unless the debt has been sent to a collection agent to be recovered.

personal loan question - birthtalks

Ok, Dh and I want to do some stuff to our house, one bank we asked about a personal loan said that because I am casual they won't count my wage at all on the application, does anyone know if everywhere is like this?? It's really quite frustrating! I do have a set day at work, and fill in when someone can't make it, anyway, does anyone know if any bank/building society will count my wage as well as DHs??
